Police have collected 1,500 pieces of evidence and more than 20,000 tips, letters or emails, but they still haven't been able to solve the case. JonBenet Ramsey's body was found a few hours after her mother called 911 and shared that she was missing. There was a ransom note in the house asking for $118,000, but the family didn't even have time to pay this money if they had wanted to before they found the little girl's body in their basement.

The autopsy did reveal that JonBenet died of asphyxiation caused by strangulation, and it was ruled a homicide. There was some speculation that her parents were involved, but they always denied this and were never charged with anything. They felt like someone broke into their home and killed their daughter JonBenet Ramsey. The investigation is still open, but at this time police are not sharing where they are at on the case. Hopefully, all of this new press will make it where someone will come forward with something that will finally solve the murder of JonBenet

There were several things that should have had changes brought against both John and Patsy Ramsey. There were several open windows and at least one open door in the house on the night of the murder, which would make it easier for an intruder to gain entry to the home. The fact that it was later determined that Patsy Ramsey constructed and staged the ransom note with the exact amount of her husband’s bonus that was left at the scene by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and that John Ramsey contaminated the evidence of the immediate area of the body and evidence on the body by moving it should have at least had them brought up on some type charges. Even though both of the Ramsey’s were cleared by DNA evidence, the police seriously botched…
