Jonathan V. Cilley: A Short Story

Black and white photos kept alive the mystery. There she was, that blonde always smiling girl. An attractive shining figure that pulls ahead in old family pictures.

I was told she was saved from the road by my great grandfather. Jonathan V. Cilley was an engineer from the United States that was developing the railroad lines in the province of Buenos Aires, where they later settled down.

The year my mother died, I named my daughter Germana. They were together only a few days and I remember mom looking at her with devotion. She had her eyes lit up as when she talked about her beloved Italian grandmother.

Today, I want to know the love story that brought Germana Domenella Capitani from Italy to Argentina. I need to prove that the sweet lady,
