I work with a financial corporation. The content described in the company’s code of ethics is similar to what Johnson (2013) suggest a valid code of ethics must have. At this company, our actions drive our behaviors. All employees must let values, integrity, honesty, respect, and service above self-guide your movement in all areas. We are business owners. We work with the company, and not to the enterprise, if something seems wrong, we must address it immediately. We must establish healthy relationships with our customers and each other. We have an open-door policy. Employees are required to speak up against any unethical behavior, even if the misconduct involve the individual employee.
