I grew up with my best friend living just down the hall. My not-so-little brother’s name is John Wesley Johnson III. He is going to be a freshman in high school next year; we are 5 years apart. He is always there when I need anything. He knows everything about me and no matter how far away we are from each other, I know that the distance is only physical.

I was in concert choir in high school and sang in front of nearly 600 people this past June for the senior capping ceremony. John has been at every one of my performances and I cannot even begin to explain how thankful I am for …show more content…

We had no idea what we were doing but after one class, we were in love. We trained day and night; there was friendly competition to see who could get promoted first. I now teach at our studio and I cannot begin to thank our Muay Thai instructor enough. Over the past two years, John and I have made leaps and bounds in physical changes but also emotional changes. I have seen John become so much more confident. He holds his head up high as he walks and I am immensely proud of the young man he’s
