Worldview is the way someone thinks about the world, their beliefs and assumptions about reality. It’s imperative to assess what a person’s world view is because it’s an important aspect of a person’s way of thinking and behavior. A person’s worldview is shaped by their culture, appropriate social behavior, ethical matters, morality etc.
Acquiring John’s worldview; The goal would be to gather some basic information on how John sees his world. That is his cultural background, belief system and values. Then work on identifying some strengths and weakness. This is important because it will allow him to identify the strengths he can use to empower himself and areas he can work on improving.
