Johnny Tremain was a young silversmith he was one of the best at the shop. later he was trying to finish an order from John Hancock. They were to finish by Monday. They had to stop on Sunday but it was still not finished when Johnny asked for a cubicle another apprentice, Dove, he gave him a cracked one and the silver spilled all over Johnny’s hand. When his hand was finished healing it was crippled he could no longer be a silversmith. The keeper of the place where Johnny states kicks him out . Then he goes into a printer shop and steals a coat from a printer boy named Rab.
