Jason proceeded to tell me about what that meant and that he is not exactly a sales man but yet he kind of is. “Sales generates my income, but I spend most of my time consulting using revenue from his sales to concatenate the services I provide.” This to me was a very eye opening experience. He wasn’t the sales representative that I had seen in class on the movie Second hand lions, yet he is someone who works with potential customers and previous customers hands on to demonstrate many things.…

Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a character from the television series N.C.I.S. played by actor Mark Harmon. Gibbs is a former marine sniper turned Special Investigator for the Naval Criminal Investigation Service (N.C.I.S.). Having never gotten over the murder of his daughter and wife by a Mexican drug cartel, he is reserved with his feelings and guards against getting too attached to those around him. His closest relationships are with his father Jackson, and reluctantly, with his team of four investigators who work with him to solve criminal cases involving military personnel. I chose this character because he is the opposite of what many might call a traditional modern leader.…

Ever since I was young, I would prefer watching movies to reading books. It was always more exciting seeing a character come to life on the big screen rather than having to conjure one up in my head. Of course there are some exceptions, such as Walt Disney’s film Johnny Tremain, directed by Robert Stevenson. It is difficult for a director to meet an audience’s expectation when creating a book-based movie, while also inputting his own take on the story. Though it is important to add some originality to a storyline, it is equally as important to stay true to the story itself.…

Throughout his complete works, Josephus identifies three main sects of Judaism that were present within his lifetime: the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the Essenes. Throughout his different works he offers many descriptions of these different sects. He describes the Pharisees in the most detail, likely because he asserts that the Pharisees drew much support from the common man and that he himself was once a Pharisee (Antiquities 13.10.5). It is useful to help understand these three sects by considering the form of government most closely related to their beliefs.…
