Johnny Cade is a 16-year-old boy who lives in the neighborhood of Meadowbrook, with his mom and dad. Johnny’s parents are abusive, and he takes his parents’ abuse to him personally. A group of people were standing around the church; a school evidently out on a picnic, and Ponyboy and Johnny jumped out of the car to find out what was happening. As they arrived on the scene, one of the women shouted that some of the children are missing. Both Ponyboy and Johnny leaped through a window in search of the kids. The boys quickly found the kids and handed them out through the window to safety. After dropping the last kid out the window, Johnny shoved Pony out the window, and the roof collapsed. Pony blacked out, but Dally went back inside for Johnny.
Right now, Johnny and Dally are in the hospital, but Ponyboy is okay. If Johnny survives, then he will be charged with manslaughter, which means you accidentally killed somebody. If Johnny does not survive, then we will all remember him as not a criminal, but a

This ties in with my thesis because is it really worth to kill someone over talking to a girl that's a Soc? If people start violence, violence will spark after it aswell. Another example is when Johnny and Ponyboy had to run away to the country and to the church and they went to Dally for help.…
