I think the most important chapter is "Bad Boy". I think this chapter is the most important because it gives the backstory for the title. I think that this chapter shows how he struggled with his speech impediment and the anger it brought him through it. His speech impediment caused many classmates to make fun of him and this caused him to become angry. This also is showing the type of bullying that he went through when he was a child. Such as when it was said “I slowed my speech down and started reading from the top of the page. Johnny Brown started laugh immediately” (42). This was when the kids in his class made fun of him for his reading. In direct result of Johnny laughing Walter ended saying “…he put his hand across his mouth to hold
