In the novel The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, the two characters who seem to have nothing in common with each other, are more alike than you may think. But along with some similarities, a few differences come to mind. Differences such as how Johnny sees the good in the world while Dally can’t, and how Johnny is a law abiding person and Dally isn’t. Some things they have in common are that both Johnny and Dally put little value on their lives and they both have abusive and negligent parents.
