“There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world, because you realize there is so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on.” by Zayn Malik. The more and more certain people keep their emotions in from their family and friends, Therefore they continue to get worst. Certain situations in your life you rather get support than get criticism. “Where Things Come Back” by John Corey Whaley. The story is about many different characters and how their own personal lifes are. The background of the story is a senior in high school named Cullen Witter life is turning upside down. Page 57 ”Lucas, he’s dead. I know he’s dead”. The others purpose is to show how Cullen went through hell and back for his brother that even in his mind he believed he would never see him again. He was trying to show his audience even though sometimes you feel as if you’re out for the count there’s still hope in certain situations. Main people in this world feel as if they fail there’s no getting back up. I believe certain novels and fiction books open our eyes to new and extraordinary things we may not see anywhere else. Page 228 “He stands several yards in front of his brother”. John Corey Whaley is showing how Cullen despite going through depression, believing that his own brother was dead to final see him alive just several yards away. Cullen expected to never see his little brother ever again. He believed he was dead, but then he did also believe there was still hope he was alive. He waited and waited till he knew for sure if his brother was dead or alive. He luckily got his brother back alive. I believe fiction should be in the curriculum for the fact of how we saw everything Cullen had to go through and how he took us through the bad and the good in his life.
