Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart are all composers that are universally known whether you like that specific genre of music or prefer listening to modern day artists. These particular composers have transcended the test of time because their music is taught in music classes currently and many composers have crafted their art by gaining inspiration from their music. Not many composers in this decade will have their musical accomplishments published in a textbook. However, there is one particular composer, conductor, and musician named John Williams, who has created many of film scores which he was nominated for over forty plus academy awards. John William’s music is considered to be iconic, relatable to a vast majority of different audiences, and has contributed to pop culture through the years.
To begin with, John Williams was born on February 8, 1932 in New York. His father was a jazz percussionist for the Raymond Scott Quintet and CBS radio. John’s brother, Donald was a percussionist and conductor. So, he came from a musical family who shared the same interest in making music. After

He worked with other composers such as Bernard Hermann and Franz Waxman. He was a studio pianist and recorded with Henry Mancini, in film scores such as Peter Gunn (1959). Also, he composed music for popular shows such as the pilot episode of Gilligan’s Island and Lost in Space (1965-68). His first film composition was for the film called Daddy-O (1958). John won his first Academy Award for his film score for Fiddler on the Roof (1972). Fortunately, John accomplished more than a lot of musicians are able to accomplish in their musical career. He was progressing into a multi-talented musician who was able to create music that was worthy of being nominated for.
