John Wesley was sent to boarding school when he was 10. At the age of 16, he made preparations to become a priest at Christ Church in oxford. At 1724 when John Wesley was 21, he received his bachelor's degree. In 1725 he was ordained as a deacon in the Anglican Church and he also received is Master of Arts in theology. He then became assistant to his father who was part of his ordination. During this time he grew closer to his father. John Wesley's father devoted more attention to him and then only at this time he extends his participation in John Wesley's congregation. John Wesley became a spiritual seeker.
