John Wesley is known as a founder of the Methodist Movement in search of the Scriptural way of salvation and a life of holiness. A member of the holy club at Oxford in the 18th Century, he studied in the tradition of piety seeking inner peace and divine grace. His search established the foundation of a world-wide parish promoting Christian Perfection, a doctrine of perfected love. It comes home to me, because I am vowed to be a Methodist from birth until death.

It is about forgiving and seeing. We are past the Christ event and know that his words from the cross are of great significance. "Forgive them for they know not what they do." In human circumstances of separation and divorce, when odds bring life beyond what we expect living to be, we have to find the place of emotional forgiveness, which is often found after we make the conscious decision to forgive.
Without all the answers, one day Bee took the leap of faith. She decided to forgive and let go. In so doing, she let God take her to a place beyond it not being over now into a place of new beginnings. She no longer needed the sorrow of Lawrence because she had the assurance of God. We have the victory in Jesus through the sufferings and disappointments.
When the sufferings and disappointments come beyond our control, make the conscious decision to overcome them with the bravery of leaping into the unexpected future saved by grace through faith. Believe this: Emmanuel - God is with you. The dance is no longer one of ease, but it is the best ever when you are dancing with the Lord of the dance. Come, Jesus has been waiting for you. Call on him!
