He went through many trials including, strength, trust, and many other things. Some examples of perseverance that he shows are migrating all the from Denmark,being put in control of one of the largest trapping groups in North America, and remaining in the Wasatch mountains for a few years even after EVERYONE left.     I admire him because he proposed these very relevant and probably never outdated theories when he lived in a very different time from ours (maybe not that drastically different, considering how both societies are experiencing radical changes but in different forms).
