John Thornton: Comparing The Book And The Movie

In the movie John Thornton is introduced at the start of the movie while in the book he is introduced at the end all most. Buck was beaten with a club in the book and in the movie but a man in a red sweater beat him in the book and a man dressed in black a cowboy hat beat him in the movie. John Thornton actually got buck at the same time he did in the book and the same way also.

John Thornton was not left because his foot was frozen in the movie he was left to build a cabin for a man while the man went to get his family. John Thornton also bet that buck could pull a thousand pounds for a thousand gold in the book and in the movie. Buck kills Spitz way early in the movie while it takes like two chapters for Buck to do it in the book. John
