Johnny Sullivan Frequecy Analysis

In “Frequency” a young boy named John Sullivan has a father named Frank Sullivan and a mother named Julia Sullivan. They live in New York city. John loved his dad until he died in a fire. John was devastated to hear that his father died. John has a good friend named Gordon, they call him Gordo.

Thirty years later John is all grown up and is shown Having a wife. They seem to have relationship problems. John wanted to be a baseball player, but threw out his arm when he was a senior. Instead he became a cop. John becomes like his father, drinking, and smoking. John has a old newspaper clipping of the day his dad died.

John goes over to Gordos house and finds his dad’s old ham radio. John seems happy to have found it. John and Gordo decide to turn it on and see if anyone is still using a ham radio. John hears a voice coming from the radio and decides to talk to the mystery man. Surprised that someone still uses

Jack chases Frank and tries to kill him. Satch shows up to find bullet holes in the apartment. Satch finds the evidence and begins to chase them. Frank falls into the ocean and pulls Jack under with him. Jack is presumed dead.

Frank goes home thinking everything is over and Jack shows up to kill him and his wife. Frank is knocked out and handcuffed to a door. Jack goes over to kill Julia. The future Jack shows up to kill John. they’re both fighting for their lives. Frank escapes the cuffs and picks up a shot gun to shoot Jack. Jack takes John as hostage. Julia jumps from the stairs and scratches Jack which leaves him a scratch mark.

Jack drops little John and Frank shoots of Jack’s hand. Present Jack is horrified that his hand is disintegrating right in front of him. Past Jack runs off and escapes. John is still fighting Jack and out of nowhere is shot by Frank. Frank and Julia both survived to play a game of baseball with John. John is finally happy to have his family
