John Schnatter has been through a lot to make this franchise become a nationally worldwide selling pizza company and continues to make it better each day.
John Schnatter was born on November 23, 1961 in Jeffersonville, IN. John studied at Jeffersonville High then continued in college at Ball State University. John has a family 3 kids, a wife, 2 siblings, and two parents. When John was just 15 he started his first job at his dad’s tavern shop as a clean up boy. Once John saw that his dad was going to lose his tavern he sold his 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to help pay the cost. He’s considered an entrepreneur because he founded his own company. The company had started at $16,000 dollars to make and now turned into a $2.2 billion dollar franchise. One of John Schnatter’s hard challenges was to sell his 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in order to save the tavern and keep the business going. A failure John Schnatter had was in the early 2000’s when sales were starting to fall so he had to lay off 45 employees.This has influenced society by Papa John’s telling its suppliers to reduce use on fossil fuels and other natural resource.The impact it had was better pizza better ingredients. He was successful because he saved the company by selling his car and has spread stores all over the world more than 4,000 to be exact Pizza from Papa John’s does still exist today because it it has been a big franchise for centuries and many more to
