It has always been advertised as one of the most prominent art museums in the State of Florida, rightfully so. This visit was my sixth time actually being to the art museum, but it was my first really analyzing the artwork in each gallery and all the sculptures that can be found in the museum. I have enjoyed each visit differently and I knew that selecting this museum would be the perfect choice. It displays some of the most breathtaking pieces of art based on the magnitude and scale of the pieces that I have ever seen. It is easy to spot visually little details in each piece and take note on the similarities and differences between them. John Ringling’s collection and many of the pieces that have been added since are in a way bringing art from the world of all over to enjoy in this one place in Florida. This was not open when I visited, but is set to open early this year. Also It has gained more funding for a kids and family playspace where they can let go and enjoy playing outdoors. Despite some of these additions and minor changes the Ringling Museum and the surrounding estate still remains the welcoming and community-driven palace it has has always remained.
