Case Analysis.
Third Party Male Assailant (Murderer)

Father: John Ramsey & Mother: Patsy Ramsey (Accessories To Murder).
Motive: Insurance Money For Business.

John Ramsey, the father of the decedent, had tampered with evidence by removing the decedent's body after he had discovered her dead. (I). By removing the body from the basement, he violated the crime scene through tampering, which is against the law. There was no sign of forced entry into the house by an intruder. According to the DNA, the Ramseys did not commit the murder, but, I believe that it is someone that they both knew, example, a hired killer because, the murder took place shortly after he received a work bonus of $118, 000.00.There was no mention of what happened to all of the money. John Ramsey needed money to also help his growing computer business in which any life insurance would have come in good use.

There was no investigation of any police officers who had a past history of accepting bribes. People only botch evidence just to cover up guilt. (III). The Boulder Police work was sloppy because there was no evidence of forced entry or break in, including the fake ransom note, the Ramseys should have been taken into custody as main suspects. (IV). District Attorney Mary T. Lacy was too quick to dismiss the Ramseys as suspects, which is not logically based on the evidence.(V). I feel that there should have been an investigation of any social clubs that both Mary T. Lacy and the Ramseys could have been affiliated with because, without evidence of innocence, Mary T. Lacy was too quick in declaring Ramsey’s innocence regardless of the evidence. (Saferstein, 2015). (VI).I believed that the Boulder police department was a part of the cover up or on the take because, the police failed to investigate what Patsy was trying to cover up based on the botched ransom note, which should automatically make her an

Police showed up at the Pugh's home the night after the murder and asked the 57-year-old housekeeper to write the number $180,000 on a piece of paper, and reportedly took her fingerprints and several strands of her hair.(1) The Hoffman-Pugh theory insisted that the housekeeper led JonBenét down into the basement that night in an attempt to trick her employers into leaving money for her ransom. There was a possibility that she could have seen John Ramsey's pay for $180,000 as a holiday bonus. Being the housekeeper she was familiar with both the home and the family's schedule, Hoffman-Pugh makes a suitable suspect, and without an alibi. She was asleep in bed while her husband allegedly slept on the couch.…

The evidence presented was too defining to not believe. The Colorado Supreme court backed the use of their evidence with the fact that, “in 1925 that evidence secured through searches and seizures in violation of the Colorado Constitution was still admissible in the state’s courts.” (Cortner) Thus, the court was allowed to use the evidence from the search and it would be accepted, even though done illegally, since it was under the law of Colorado. Meanwhile, Wolf and his attorney’s argument and objection was that the evidenced shouldn’t be introduced or yet only allowed to be used.…

LOS ANGELES — The chief of police in America’s second largest city has vowed not to cooperate with President Trump’s immigration policies. “That is not our job, nor will I make it our job,” Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck told The Los Angeles Times. Beck has promised not to cooperate with the Trump administration even if it means a loss of federal funds for his department. Beck’s position is that threatening deportation will make crime worse by deterring those people from cooperating with police during criminal investigations. “In the mid-1990s, when the state cracked down [on] illegal immigration, all we did was drive people underground,” Beck said.…

In March 1868 on Salt Spring Island, the dead body of William Robinson was discovered in his home. This was the third such murder of a black man on Salt Spring Island in a period of two years. An indigenous man named Tshuanahusset was accused, and found guilty of the murder fifteen months later. This essay will discuss, the evidence and testimonies given, the reasons Tshuanahusset was found guilty, and pose the opinion that there was not enough evidence to convict Tshuanahusset, and that John Norton and Sue Tas were responsible for framing Tshuanahusset, if not responsible for the murder itself. This is a mystery filled with suspicious circumstances, and minimal evidence.…

Officers lie for one another, the department will give false statements and testimonies when questioned. “Normally, a trial decides the truth. But a compelling story rooted in stereotypes may circumvent that” (Troutt 17). The jury and judges fall for the officer’s stories which always include a twisted story and false statements by other officers. Most of all, officers will never give a clear image of what happened unless there is visual evidence such as a video taken by a bystander.…
