During the play “The Crucible," John Proctor moved to Salem with his wife Elizabeth, although during the play he had an affair with one of the girls, Abby. Unfortunately, John figures out how clingy and insane Abby is and tried to forget about the affair so they can move on with their lives. You may think that living your whole life with these strict rules may seem easy to live with, well what if I told you that if someone might think you're a witch just because they didn't like you. “There be no mark of blame upon my life, Mr. Hale. I am a covenanted Christian woman.” (Miller Act Two).
