They all had come to listen to the pope but he was there for another reason, to listen to them. The youth presented twenty-one questions to the pope. He has always loved young people because when he was younger he spent so much time with young people. He was chosen to hold the eighth world youth day, the city he chose was Denver, Colorado. They only expected 20,000 people to show up and listen to the pope, but 500,000 people acually showed up to listen to the pope. The people that gathered to listen to the pope speak knew that he was authentic. All young people that knew him and that have listened to him loved him and loved how he spoke. In millions of young people, the fruit of Pope John Paul's love is already budding, but it will not reach its full blossom until more generations to come. Human Love was not something that is given to couples or something that "happens" to them. It is a task thrown to them by God.
