Saint John Paul the second can be considered a hero because of his accomplishments, his five loves, and his life style. Saint John Paul the second was also a pope. He was also recently ordained a saint. Saint John Paul's real name was Karol Józef. When his mother was in labor, she heard the the sounds of people singing hymns in honor of the Virgin Mary across the street at the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary, and she said " open the window so the songs could be heard."All of Saint John Paul's friends called him Lolek. The future Pope actually, in his childhood, lived on Church Street. When Karol was only eight years old, he came home from school one day and learned that his mother had passed away. They all had come to listen to the pope but he was there for another reason, to listen to them. The youth presented twenty-one questions to the pope. He has always loved young people because when he was younger he spent so much time with young people. He was chosen to hold the eighth world youth day, the city he chose was Denver, Colorado. They only expected 20,000 people to show up and listen to the pope, but 500,000 people acually showed up to listen to the pope. The people that gathered to listen to the pope speak knew that he was authentic. All young people that knew him and that have listened to him loved him and loved how he spoke. In millions of young people, the fruit of Pope John Paul's love is already budding, but it will not reach its full blossom until more generations to come. Pope John Paul called the youth people of the third millennium will be the next saints and they will make great saints, he said. Human Love was not something that is given to couples or something that "happens" to them. It is a task thrown to them by God. The measure of their love is not the intensity of their emotions but the degree to which they feel responsible for each other. The persuasiveness of John Paul's vision of human love and sexuality flow much from his deep appreciation and understanding for the feminine soul.
