You are free to do what you want unless you give consent. Aristotle and Plato would disagree because they believe you should be forced to be controlled by a leader which completely takes away your freedom. And if you don’t follow the ideal vision of the perfect being, you should automatically be enslaved. Rip you apart from your freedom and put you under control of someone who apparently has the best life and teaches you their ways. It sounds ridiculous because it is ridiculous, no one should be able to enslave you because you aren’t living the ideal life. It’s your life you should live it however you want to, you have the absolute freedom to do so. Whereas social contract gives the individual to decide whether or not to give up certain freedoms in order to gain protection from the government. Being forced or coerced into a body would tear your freedoms from you and no one has that right, the only person who can is yourself. People have control over one sole body and that is your own. Equality is and should be well spread out between everyone. Not one person should have power over you like how Locke says, “A state also of equality, wherein all the power and jurisdiction is reciprocal, no one having more than another, there being nothing more evident than that creatures of the same species and rank, promiscuously faculties, should also be equal one amongst another, without subordination or subjection…” Men should be equal unless told otherwise by their lord or master, that person being God. Also, men shouldn’t just be treated equal, but love one another. Treating one another equally and with care will help create a more just
