The business have been successful in becoming the UK’s largest multi-channel retailer since 1864 through the efforts of their 30,000 Partners. All of the staff at John Lewis is a Partner in the organisation. The largest of co-ownership in the UK, and every year they share their profits with all of their staff for their annual bonus. The company is part of the John Lewis Partnership and it includes the Waitrose supermarkets and textiles factory in the north of England. They have over 85,000 Partners.
Cadbury’s started in Birmingham by a man called John Cadbury in 1824. He started off with cocoa and drinking chocolate, which he made himself using a mortar and pestle. Since 1824, Cadburys have brought out a bunch of different chocolate
