John Jacob Crew Bradsfield

John Jacob Crew Bradfield was an Australian engineer who very important for his work on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. He lived from December 26, 1867 to September 23, 1943. He was born in Sandgate, Queensland and his parents were John Edward Bradfield (1823-1902) and Maria Crew (1828-1917). His wife was Edith Jenkins with whom he had six children; Mary Margaret (1892–1984), Edward (1893), Anthony Bailey (1895–1974), Alan (1903), Stanley George (1906–1951), and Keith Noel Everal (1910–2006). Keith Bradfield was an engineer at the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), and he worked in with the Alexandra Canal and to the Sydney Airport. John died in Sydney on 23 September 1943 and Edith died 11 years later.
