John I Leonard Scholarship Research Paper

Since I was a young girl, I've always had a desire to become a Pediatric Nurse because of my interest in children and medicine. I knew that to be able to achieve my goal, I would have to continue my education after high school and go on to college. The only problem in my way was the money for tuition. I knew that my father wasn't going to help pay for college nor my mother since she would not have enough money to help me; so I always tried my best in school. I've applied to scholarships but only been successful with one. The reason I'm applying to the John I Leonard Scholarship is because I hope to receive a scholarship of any amount, to be able, to be a little closer in achieving my dream of paying for college; to not only earn my AA degree

Even though I do plan on attending a fairly cheap (compared to other colleges) community college. This college is NICC because I heard that it has a nice engineering program and that is what I plan on doing when I am older. I think that a nice and cheap community college would still produce problems in my families income which is why I think that any scholarships would benefit greatly.…

I feel this scholarship suits me because I am not one to give up until my goals are attained and, currently, my goal is to have little to no student debt when graduating from college.…
