Born Helmut Herzfeld, John Heartfield was a German, he changed his name on April 29th, 1968. He specialized in German Dada and political artistry. According to johnheartfield.com Mr. Heartfield was a very outspoken person. He created many visually striking pieces throughout his years as an artist. When he began his main artistry he was very big on anti-Nazi and anti-fascist statement artwork. He was one of the first artists to use his artwork as a weapon and help see governments/rulers for what they really were. John Heartfield is credited as the founder of modern photomontage (johnheartfield.com). He was famous on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean due to his artwork. Trump will be a horrible President for the United States of America. Much like what many people experienced first hand with Adolf Hitler. Many immigrants legal or illegal feel that they will be repressed even more in their continuing struggle for success. Many also feel that they may be deported and taken away from their families and will not be able to watch their young children grow into adults. If there were an artist like John Heartfield, a person who is not afraid to show his or her face to the public. John Heartfield has many amazing pieces of art to choose from, but one of my all time favorites from him has to be "Adolf The Superman: Swallows Gold and spouts Junk". This piece not only sent shock waves through Europe when he published this piece. It is a photo of Adolf Hitler and you can see the inside of his torso and in there you see a bunch of gold coins (stacked so that it looks like his vertebrae) and gold coins for his stomach/intestines and finally the swastika serving as his heart. Adolf Hitler was a vile human who in John Heartfield's eyes was a money hungry Nazi loving person. Which in my opinion he was. John Heartfield unquestionably in my opinion depicted Adolf Hitler to a
