We have all heard of Gandy, Martin Luther King, and Terry Fox. Even though these are all great example of active global citizens, I would like to research someone who uses new, unique and innovative methods to make the world a better place. I think that John Green would be a great example of a modern active global citizen. Firstly, John Green is aware of the issues that affect the global community. Also, he takes interest in societal issues and tries to raise awareness about them. Finally, he strives to make the world a more just and sustainable place. These are just a few of the reasons why John Green is an active global citizen.

John Green is an active global citizen is because he is aware of important events in the global community and helps others to understand them. He does this by researching and simplifying complicated subjects like politics and then, using modern technology, he shares this information with others.
