John Gracey: The Different Types Of Murder

There are many different types of murders. A lot of people tend to think that murder is just murder. They don’t seem to realize that every murder has it different of classification. The different type of murders are first degree murder, second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter. These are the different type of murders that occur throughout the United States and a day to day bases. First-degree murder is when someone is willing and already premeditating a plan to kill someone. Also, first-degree murder is when the killer is waiting for the victim with full intention to kill. For example, when a killer like John Gracey decided to get in his vehicle drive around town looking for young men and asking them he needed help around his house. And then took the young men to home where he would drug them and then kill them. That is consider first degree murder. John Gracey already had the motive to kill someone even before he left his home. And then after committing the crime he already had the plan on how to dispose the body. This is a perfect example of how you can picture first-degree murder. …show more content…
Sometimes you have those murders that occur in the spare of the moment. This is considering second-degree murder which is normally caused by heat of passion. Even though the crime was committed at the moment the killer still had no consideration for human life. For example, when a mother who normally wouldn’t hurt a fly sees her son or daughter being hurt causes her to during into mama bear. This is where the mother attacks the attacker for hurting her children. But it tends to go above and beyond where the mother tends to kills the attacker due to the heat of the moment.
