The thirty-fifth president of the United states (Propaganda and Mass) who was born John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He was the youngest person and the first Roman Catholic elected president (Britannica Concise Encyclopedia). He was the son of Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy (Historic World Leaders). Kennedy was running up against Richard Nixon during the presidential campaign. Kennedy was supporting the democratic side of the party. He carried 68 of the African American vote, because of a well-timed call to Mr. Martin Luther King Jr, and by carrying 78% of the Catholic vote (Historic World Leaders).
