John F Kennedy was born on May 29th, 1917, in Brookline, Massachusetts to parents Joseph and Rose Kennedy. John, often called Jack, was the second of nine children and was often sick throughout his childhood. John lived a well-rounded life despite his many ailments. While attending Harvard University; he traveled to Europe with his father. He wrote a senior thesis: “Appeasement in Munich” which looked into the failures of the British government during World War II.
