John surrounded himself with the smartest and brightest people. His wife was smart, charming, and beautiful-a patron of arts. John would get down on his hands and knees and play with his children. The two children loved to hide under their Dad’s desk and take candy from the dish on the secretary’s desk. Once John’s daughter Caroline walked into a press conference wearing her Mom’s high heels.
