The Presidential Motorcade along with a car ahead, and a car behind pulled onto Houston Street in Dallas, Texas, around 12:30 P.M. with President Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy, Nellie Connally, and Governor Connally. Like all Presidents, President Kennedy decided to take a nine day campaign tour which went to nine different states, and ended in Texas. Kennedy had said something along the lines of, he wants the CIA gone, and out of his business, and not to come back and get in it. Kennedy’s administration was who he addressed that statement to, in which weeks later it got out to the public, in which the CIA seen. To those around him, and many others they think John F. Kennedy was assassinated because he was turning away from the Cold War, and his ties with it. Leading up to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald had a rough stage in his life. Prior to him being born, Oswald’s father died, and growing up Oswald didn’t have a father figure in his life. With that being said, Oswald acted out of needing attention from the people who surrounded him, including his own family and others around him at the time. Throughout his life, he was always troubled, and always had a bad temper about everything that happened no matter what it was. Oswald had been said to be in the USSR, previous to this happening, years before to be more detailed. Was it a possibility that Oswald had something to do with the Soviets in the assassination of John F. Kennedy?
