John F. Kennedy in Fact and Fiction
John F. Kennedy served as the 35th President of the United States, and was the youngest man to be elected President (whitehouse.gov). He grew up in a wealthy family and served in the Navy during World War II. Prior to becoming president, John F. Kennedy served in the House of Representatives and in the United States Senate ( jfklibrary.org). A s President, he worked to ease tensions with the Soviet Union and challenged America to excel by developing the technology to send a man to the moon and back by the end of the 60’s. “O n November 22, 1963, Kennedy was assassinated while riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas” ( biography.com). Much of the factual information on Kennedy I used for the presenation came from websites including “whitehouse.gov” and “jfklibrary.org”.

Kennedy and the John F Kennedy characterized in the episode through the use of a Powerpoint presentation. I will show that both in the film and in reality, Kennedy surrounded himself with diverse people such as Lyndon B. Johnson and Bobby Kennedy. I will also show that the producer’s goal was to depict Kennedy’s character as accurately as possible within a science fiction setting that is different from reality. I will explain that by building a strong Kennedy character, the author was able to answer the question that many people have asked which is, “What would Kennedy do and what would the world have looked like if he had survived?”.
The film depicted Kennedy's heroism when Kennedy volunteered to go back and fix the fabric of time even though it would cost him his life. The science fiction aspect changed reality, but stayed true to Kennedy’s character. My goal is to give an exciting and engaging presentation that shows how Kennedy’s character is developed and ultimately reinforced in this fictional
