President John F. Kennedy Assassination November 22, 1963 is a date in U.S. History that will forever be remembered. The assassination of President John F. Kennedy was the shot heard around the world. This tragic event was the very first event to be broadcast over the course of four days with no commercial interruptions. Society did not have another event of that magnitude until September 11, 2001. In 1963, the world had television, radio, and newspapers to broadcast the news. In those days that was a perfect way to hear, read and watch the news. Everyone who had any of those means of entertainment had it on in their households, offices or outside. I watched one broadcast on the internet and the poor quality of the show was shocking to me
