John F Kennedy And Jfk Assassination

Great Essays
“A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on.” After JFK died many had the idea that his death was an assassination, a stone cold murder but it was merely an accident. President John F. Kennedy’s death shocked the world, but who was the actual killer? Based on the backstory, the forensics/trajectory, and the witnesses; evidence has proven that Lee Harvey Oswald was assisted in this assassination attempt, but was not the person who killed JFK.

John F. Kennedy was elected in 1960. At the time of his presidency, America was involved in worldwide political conflicts with mainly Russia and Cuba (Cuban Missile Crisis and Bay of Pigs). America was also in a “space race” and half way through the rebuilding of Germany after WW2.

First off, Lee Harvey Oswald located at his work which at the time was positioned behind the car procession. The autopsy report shows that the shot that hit Kennedy came from the side of JFK's head. Reports also said that Kennedy was shot in the throat, front to back, but he was really shot in his spinal cord causing his hands to go up looking like he was choking. With the possible exception of the Single Bullet Theory, nothing about the assassination has been as controversial as the nature of Kennedy’s head wound. Conspiracists have stressed witness testimony that the side of Kennedy’s head was blown out, suggesting a shot from the Grassy Knoll. Lone assassin theorists have stressed the photographic evidence and the autopsy x-rays, which show the side of the head intact. The Harper Fragment was a piece of bone discovered in Dealey Plaza the day after the assassination. A Dallas doctor (A. B. Cairns) identified it as occipital bone from a human skull. Further, conspiracy books claim the fragment was found behind the location of the limo at the moment Kennedy’s head exploded. If these claims are correct, that means the side of Kennedy’s head was blown out, which would imply both a shooter in front of Kennedy and fakery in the autopsy photos and x-rays. Autopsy reports have also shown different bullets; one shattered and another still in one piece. The sniper’s bullets used to kill JFK were found on his spinal cord, but the bullet found in Kennedy’s skull was broken apart like an AR-15 bullet used by the Secret Service Agents. These Forensics support what the witnesses told the

to be inaccurate. There were a few centimeters of difference between the drawing of the bullet wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck compared to the picture taken at Parkland Hospital. What was believed to be an exit wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck by the Parkland staff was later determined to be an entrance wound by Bethesda (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 1). This contradiction implies that the government was attempting to cover up the fact that the gunshots came from in front of the car opposed to behind it where Oswald was alleged stationed (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 6).…

The Assassin Becomes the Assassinated On November 22, 1963, the 35th President of the United States of America, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, is assassinated at 12:30 p.m. in Dallas, Texas, supposedly by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald fires three shots from a 6.5 mm Carcano Model 91/38 carbine at the President; the first shot penetrates through the President’s throat, then the second shot pierces through the head. President Kennedy is announced dead 30 minutes after the shooting. Oswald is found 20 minutes after President Kennedy’s death in a theater, where he resists arrest and yells,”Well, it’s all over now!” Two days later, after an extensive police interview, Oswald is transported down to the basement of the Dallas Police Headquarters, where he would is to be transported to an armored car and taken to a nearby county jail.…

The Dallas Police Department was most fortunate to have both. The body of President Kennedy was transported to the Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was officially pronounced dead. Yet, contrary to Texan law, the body of JFK was flown out of Dallas on Air Force One and transported to a hospital in Washington D.C. This maneuver by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), again left conspiracy theorists questioning the brazen move. The significance of this strategy resounds most in the emergence of the “magic bullet theory” ( Texas A&M University, 2007).…

According to the report, a “magic bullet” was the cause of the nonfatal wounds inflicted upon President Kennedy and Governor Connally. As shown by Figure 1, the magic bullet goes into the President 's throat, out of the body, makes a sharp right turn, then a sharp left turn into Connally’s chest, and finally turns right again into the wrist then into the thigh of the Governor. After all of this,, according to Figure 2, the bullet stays in pristine condition after causing seven wounds including two broken bones. However, the chief consultant in wound ballistics for the U.S Army says that, “Under no circumstances do I feel that this bullet could hit a wrist and still not be deformed. We proved that by experiments” (Hinrichs).…
