John Dunkley's Neither Day Nor Night

John Dunkley’s ‘Neither Day nor Night’ exhibit has more than thirty paintings and a few carved-wood and stone sculptures. Even though his work is shown in many galleries in Jamaica, Dunkley has never been the focus of a solo exhibition since the 1970s, and never outside Jamaica. He is considered to be one of Jamaica's most important historical artists. T-he paintings in this exhibit are from 1930s - 1940s, he was born in 1891 and passed away 1947. The exhibition at the Pérez Art Museum Miami is Dunkley's first showing in the U.S.
