On January 22, 1990, John Doyle was born at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Shortly after his birth, John experienced respiratory problems. John’s doctor was concerned for his well-being, so John was placed in intensive care. A week later, John’s doctor allows his parents to discharge from the hospital. After leaving the hospital John’s parents take him back to their home in Audubon, New Jersey. John’s mother Aileen was a school teacher at Paul VI High School in Audubon, New Jersey; and his father Jack was a nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. John was part of a successful middle-class family.
At the age of seven, John attended a private institution named Mansion Avenue School. On his first day of school, he met his teacher Ms. Goodman. Ms. Goodman noticed the school that John would not socialize with the rest of the students. Ms. Goodman told John that first grade is where he would learn how to make new friends. However, during his first year at the Mansion Avenue School, he discovers that his teacher has higher expectations for him than his previous kindergarten teacher. Soon John realizes that he would have to work hard in order to get good grades.

After the first few weeks of school John’s anti-social behavior becomes apparent again. But, John’s teachers disregard his behavior, due to the belief that this is just the result of transferring to a new school. Halfway through the school year John’s anti-social behavior gets worse, his teachers also notice that he distances himself from his peers. John’s teachers are then forced to notify his parents of his behavior at school. After John’s parents hear his behavior, they decide to have a conversation with him about his anti-social behavior. When John’s parents saw that their efforts understand him have failed, they’re left with no choice to seek an outside
