John Dillinger Public Enemy Analysis

When people think of misfortune, they think dark, depressing, misery, bad luck. Quite frankly, some say that perfectly describes John Dillinger's life. The world's elements were never in John Dillinger's favor, which resulted in the country's “Public Enemy no. 1, which wasn't exactly all of his fault, many factors play in the molding of John Dillinger's short, eventful life. Mishap struck the Dillinger family shortly after John was born when his mother fell ill and died three years later. Now, John's father had to support his family solely by himself, fortunately he owned his own grocery store, but neglected to serve any attention to John. John's father married another woman, in which John had a chilly relationship with. Some historians actually believe the relationship he had with his step mother caused him to rebel, thus the making of his childhood gang, “The Dirty Dozen”. John began to study bank robbery and the innovative system and he also befriended people who were also fans of committing theft. Some believe John actually wanted to be a good person considering he started attending church, apologized to the elder grocer and started visiting his ex-wife. He made a half-hearted attempt to make a family, because all in all, he did begin robbing a lot of banks with his new friends- 24 banks in 60 days to be precise. 2 weeks after his release, John shipped a decent amount of pistols to Michigan City Prison and 10 of his friends escaped. By that time. John was arrested for robbery and sent to Allen County Prison in Lima, Ohio. His friends drove down there, killed the sheriff, and freed John. After that, John and his friends traveled the country, robbing banks and stores with elaborate, drawn out plans. John's rebellious journey ended quite abruptly when he was allegedly killed by the FBI on July 22,
