John Deere was the manufacturing company that I chose in Module Three. John Deere operates massive assembly lines in order to produce large amounts of farm implements and heavy machinery. As a manager for John Deere I would utilize the balanced scorecard to help John Deere achieve the manufacturing goals (units produced) while performing to the highest efficiency possible. That approach will help John Deere show the best cash flow and profit margins possible to the company investors and stock market.

The first action item to developing a balanced scorecard is to communicate and outline the company strategies to all levels of the organization. The strategy for the company would be to achieve manufacturing goals while providing a quality
