I think that my guy should be viewed as Captain of Industry because he always donated money when he had the chance and he respected his managers and he did give them vacations prior to pay. I know this because it said in one of the articles that I read “Rockefeller was known for respecting the opinions of his managers, and he advocated vacations with pay because he believed that workers needed breaks. Other historians claim that Rockefeller treated his workers poorly simply based on the fact that he amassed so much money when they lived on so little. When he owned his own business instead of keeping all his money to himself he would give other Americans a piece of good fortune by investing in activities and programs that was designed to help others. I know this because in one of the articles I read it said “As a bookkeeper Rockefeller was not well paid. But for what he was paid he always gave to his church and charities. When he owned his own business instead of keeping his wealth to himself, he would give others in the American society a piece of good fortune by investing in activities and programs designed to benefit others.” This shows that even though he’s rich he’s not a stuck up snob like other rich
