Tony Robbins Essay

Tony Robbins uses his winning personality to capture the audience’s attention so he can urge them to take a deeper look into their decisions and motives in life by sharing some emotional experiences and stories from others. As soon as you see Tony Robbins on the stage you can tell he is comfortable with having all eyes on him, he mentions “My challenge is: the shortest seminar I usually do is 50 hours.” So it is common for him to be talking to large groups of people. Automatically it is clear that he is a leader, he is confident and he seems to have this kind of authority about him, he owns the stage when he is up there talking. Over the years Robbins has helped impact the lives of more than 50 million people in 100 different countries with his best-selling publications, public speaking and other gatherings. “I 've done it for 30 years.” says Robbins, he is letting his audience know that he has been talking to people like this for so long that he has plenty of experience in his field and that is why we should listen to what he has to say. When he walks around on the stage he uses his hands to communicate what he is trying to say and for some reason that makes me feel like he is being more interactive instead of just standing in one spot the entire time. Robbins is also a humorous person who gets the crowd laughing and applauding many times throughout his speech.
