John C. Fremont was born in Savannah Georgia, January 31, 1813. He was a husband to Mrs. Jessie Fremont. John and his family lived in South Carolina for many years. He was a son of a French father and American mother.
John accomplished many great things in his life. John was a lawyer and a military officer. He also assisted on the railroad track. He was the first candidate for the Republican Party, and he was in the battle of the Cross Keys.
