John Freyer, seller for items in “All My Life”, uses an illustration about how these shoes were made and the impact on the American economy. He describes the shoes being made by “…13 year old children working for the sweat shops run by Nike and the like.” He continues to explain that the Converse All-Stars are the “last American shoe…” because “their true allegiance is to the profits rather than to the American people”.
