To be a St. John Baptist Church academic scholar, one must possess certain attributes. Characteristics such as integrity, honesty and determination. I, not only possess these qualities, I proudly display them in public and privately. I strive for excellence in everything I do.
I proudly display my love for Christ Jesus, wherever I go. I dedicate myself to continually finding ways to increase my faith in the Lord, as well as encouraging others. I believe Christianity is a lifestyle. I must always carry myself in a manner in which I demonstrate this lifestyle regardless of my surroundings; be it at my church, home, school, and community. Qualities I find in myself, just to name a few are determination, leadership, and positivity.

I consider myself to be a very positive person. From certain experiences that I have endured, I have learned that being in the right mindset will allow me to achieve anything I may want for my life and keep me moving forward. I am certain, positive faith will have a positive blessing for me in the end.
In the goal of exemplifying my faith for a higher education, I will continue to participate in my church, continuing to give God the praise for the great things HE has already done, and for the things HE will continue to do in my life. It is my goal to set higher standards for myself every day, and believing I can accomplish anything through Christ Jesus. I will concentrate on my studies to endure the knowledge that will shape my future. I will continue to put God first, trust in him, and always be thankful unto him for my life.
Success is my future; I will go on the do great things, regardless of what others may think. I will plan my academic career properly, and I will not allow the outside world, or anyone around me to keep me away from my blessing. With GOD on my side, I can do ALL
