John As The Author Of The Gospel Of John

When discussing the authorship of john there are many different opinions. Some scholars use to believe that John was indeed the author of the gospel. However, modern day scholars do not believe that John wrote any part of the gospel. In order to truly understand the authorship and date of John three questions need to be asked: who wrote it, why it was written and when was it written. These questions promote expedition from the reader and once the reader answers these questions the reader con have a better interpretation of John.

These words are initially meant only for Christians and their ability to understand that they must continue to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God at all times without doubt. However it is possible to look at the text as an invitation to non-believers that when they believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God within their hearts that they have the opportunity to become believers. This scriptures interpretation draws readers in and gives them the opportunity to see that Jesus Christ is not a being that is simply somewhere that we want to be, but he is within us and that readers can have everlasting life through him. There is no specific audience that is mentioned which allows the reader to interpret that this scripture can be for anyone that reads and believes. The gospels of John give us his miricals of jesus and how he feeds 5,000 and how he heals the blind man. This gives the reader an in depth look to how jesus works. Jesus came to earth as an ordaniry man. He did not have the best of anything and did not pertray as someone that could have whatever he wanted when he wanted.
