There were several things that should have had changes brought against both John and Patsy Ramsey. There were several open windows and at least one open door in the house on the night of the murder, which would make it easier for an intruder to gain entry to the home. The fact that it was later determined that Patsy Ramsey constructed and staged the ransom note with the exact amount of her husband’s bonus that was left at the scene by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and that John Ramsey contaminated the evidence of the immediate area of the body and evidence on the body by moving it should have at least had them brought up on some type charges.
