Lorraine and John met on the bus and became friends in a slightly odd way but they developed a friendship that would last. They had a game with two of their friends, who they didn’t really trust, where they would prank call someone and see how long they could keep that person on the phone. It was Lorraine’s turn and she cheated by opening her eyes and looking at the phone book. She picked someone that lived on her block.It was a man whose name is Mr. Pignati.
John who has avocations like smoking and drinking because of his father that really doesn’t care about him. Pignati in the hospital. A few days after Mr.Pignati’s heart attack, John went to the cemetery where he had a few beers. When it came to drinking and smoking John was very proficient. While John was there he noticed a new grave which had a putrid smell coming from it, and he also got into a little argument with Norton. Norton wanted to steal from the Mr. Pignati and John was very defensive. But on Friday night John and Lorraine had what was supposed to be a little get together turn into a party. Norton who was not invited snuck in and was caught by john trying to steal. After fighting with John , Norton managed to get away from John and go into the pig room. He then proceeded to smash pigs until John got in the room then the fight started again. The party had stopped and John didn’t realize but Mr. Pignati came back early. He found his house trashed and John and Lorraine to blame.
The next day John and Lorraine called Mr. Pignati to apologize and they agreed to meet at the zoo. John and Lorraine got there early and waited. When they saw Mr. Pignati he looked weak and frail. He looked worse when they got to the primate house and Bobo was not there. A zoo employee informed them that Bobo had died from pneumonia. Mr.Pignati then fell to the ground dead, John stayed there while Lorraine went away so she would not get in trouble. John saddened by the death reflected on his life and him
