I believe that Jesus is the Messiah and I believe that some of these are truly prophecies and others I believe are not. Psalms was written as poems and songs, it is about David and His experiences. I do not believe that someone can just pick a single verse out of Psalms and say it is a prophecy to fit their own agenda. David was writing about his hands and feet being pierced because that was a common practice done to criminals at the time. There are more concrete prophesies in the bible about Jesus then the ones that we studied this week. Jesus Himself foretells what is going to happen to Himself well before it happens. John 3 Jesus says just like Moses lifted the snake the son of man will also be lifted. The Bible also explains that Jesus
