Johannes Stotter is an artist, musician and body painter from Italy. Johannes sings and also plays the violin in a band. Johannes studies education and philosophy at the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
Johannes attends many social projects where he combines his music with his art work. Johannes also develops his work without reference to other body painting artists or their work. in 2009 Johannes also secured a place for himself at the international bodypainting Festival in Austria and he took part for his first time.
The following years Johannes received many awards like, winner of the North American Bodypainting Championship USA 2013 and Winner of the “International Fine Art Bodypainting Award” 2014.

This body paint has some beautiful elements on it and I love the textured elusion Johannes has created with his body paint application. I was also attracted to his work by the colours he uses they seem to release a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I have been researching images, techniques and information about nature and nature themed body painting. I have also watched YouTube tutorials from professional makeup artists to look at the techniques and products they used to create the perfect body paint application. I was inspired by many images I looked at but mostly themed images of trees, leafs and animals. After many different ideas I decided to incorporate stars, trees, moon and the sun together on my model.
Firstly, I need to make sure my client is hydrated, rested, happy and in a comfortable position throughout the body paint process, I also need to make sure that my work is photographed before it’s all washed away at the end of the day. It is essential to advise my client to exfoliate their skin a day or two before any body paint application. This will remove dead skin so that I can create an even body paint application on my
